This summer, from Monday, June 15, 2026, through Sunday, August 9, 2026, “Plant a Seed, Read” and grow with our Summer Reading Program! From books and video games to storytimes and sewing workshops, there is something for everyone at your library. Log your reading and activities to enter to win prizes for all ages, like a greenhouse kit for children or a Nintendo Switch 2 for adults!

Register at placentialibrary.beanstack.org or on the Beanstack App and keep track of your reading online. Children can also pick up a reading log at the Information Desk!

Reading Program Details

• Ages 0-13: For every 60 minutes you read (or are read to), you earn a chance to win one of the Children’s Grand Prizes. Read 300 minutes to earn a Midway Prize and 600 minutes for a Completion Prize and stop by the Information Desk to redeem, while supplies last. Plus, complete activities like attending a program or downloading the Library App to earn extra prize drawing tickets.
• Ages 14+: For each book you read, you earn a chance to win one of our Teen and Adult Grand Prizes. Read 3 books and stop by the Information Desk to pick up a Tote Bag Completion Prize, while supplies last. Plus, complete activities like attending a program or downloading the Library App to earn extra prize drawing tickets.
